Kulwant Singh Participates in World Autism Day Program at Sector 79, Emphasises Awareness and Inclusion
Marking World Autism Awareness Day, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh participated in a programme held at the Center of Excellence for Autism and Neuro-developmental Disorders in Sector 79.
The event focused on raising awareness about autism and promoting inclusive support systems for individuals with neuro-developmental conditions. Kulwant Singh interacted with participants and appreciated the efforts being made to provide specialised care and services.
Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh was also present on the occasion, highlighting the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and awareness initiatives in the state.
Speaking at the event, Kulwant Singh emphasised the importance of understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals with autism. He noted that awareness programmes play a crucial role in building a more inclusive and compassionate society.
