Kulwant Singh Distributes Registration Machines for Health Insurance Scheme in Mohali, Pushes Door-to-Door Coverage
Kulwant Singh, MLA of MLA Mohali, distributed registration machines at his office in Mohali to strengthen enrolment under the Chief Minister’s health insurance scheme.
The initiative aims to simplify the process of creating health insurance cards and ensure wider access for residents. With the deployment of these machines, local teams will soon begin door-to-door registration to cover every eligible household in the constituency.
Under the scheme, each family is entitled to cashless treatment coverage of up to ₹10 lakh, reducing the financial burden of medical expenses. The effort is part of a broader healthcare expansion under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, focused on making quality healthcare accessible to all.
At the constituency level, the Aam Aadmi Party Mohali is facilitating the implementation through on-ground mobilisation and outreach. Residents welcomed the move, noting that doorstep registration will make it easier for families to enrol and benefit from the scheme without procedural difficulties
