AAP Road Show Strengthens Public Connect Across Mohali
A large number of residents, supporters, and party workers participated in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) road show organised across SAS Nagar Mohali on 14 June 2026. The programme witnessed an enthusiastic response from people representing different sections of society, including youth, women, senior citizens, traders, and local residents, reflecting strong public engagement and community participation. The road show served as an important platform for connecting with citizens and reinforcing the shared commitment towards the continued development of Mohali under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Led by MLA Kulwant Singh, the road show passed through various sectors, villages, markets, and residential areas of the constituency, where residents warmly welcomed the participants and interacted with public representatives. The programme provided an opportunity to directly engage with citizens, understand their views on local issues, and receive valuable feedback regarding civic infrastructure, public services, community welfare, and future development priorities.
During the interaction, discussions focused on ongoing development works across Mohali, including improvements in roads, sanitation, drinking water supply, public amenities, education, healthcare, and other citizen services. Residents shared their suggestions and highlighted the importance of continuing development initiatives that improve everyday life while ensuring balanced progress across both urban and rural areas of the constituency.
As one of Punjab’s fastest-growing urban centres, Mohali continues to witness rapid expansion in residential, commercial, educational, and industrial sectors. The road show highlighted the importance of maintaining close communication with citizens so that development remains aligned with local needs and public expectations. Regular public outreach programmes strengthen transparency, encourage community participation, and help ensure that governance remains responsive and people-centric.
The programme also reinforced the importance of active citizen participation in strengthening democracy and promoting inclusive development. Community engagement enables better planning of public projects, improves coordination between residents and the administration, and contributes significantly to building stronger, cleaner, and better-connected neighbourhoods throughout Mohali.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the people of Mohali for their overwhelming participation, affection, and continued support. He said that direct interaction with residents provides valuable insights into the challenges faced by the community and helps ensure that development efforts remain focused on the needs and aspirations of the people. He reaffirmed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to strengthening public infrastructure, improving citizen services, and delivering transparent, development-oriented governance across Mohali.
He further stated that the trust and encouragement shown by residents serve as a constant source of inspiration to continue working with honesty, dedication, and commitment towards public welfare. He emphasised that sustained cooperation between citizens, public representatives, and government departments will remain essential for accelerating development and enhancing the quality of life across the constituency.
The road show concluded with enthusiastic public participation and meaningful interaction between residents and public representatives. Through continuous community engagement, improved public services, and sustained investment in infrastructure and welfare initiatives, the Punjab Government and MLA Kulwant Singh remain dedicated to building a stronger, more progressive, and citizen-focused SAS Nagar Mohali.
