Continue readingUnder the ‘Roshan Punjab’ project launched in October 2025, power infrastructure across Punjab is being upgraded with an investment of around ₹5,000 crore. In Mohali alone, works worth approximately ₹708 crore are underway to enhance electricity systems and ensure improved supply.
As part of these efforts, five transformers in Jagatpura have been upgraded from 100 KVA to 200 KVA over the past month, with an estimated cost of around ₹20 lakh. Additionally, a new 11 kV power line is being installed in the area at a cost of nearly ₹30 lakh to improve load distribution and ensure uninterrupted supply.
