Kulwant Singh Distributes ₹5 Lakh Grants to 13 Panchayats in Mohali, Fulfils Government Commitment
Reinforcing support for grassroots governance, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh distributed development grants to panchayats across the constituency.
As per the commitment of the Punjab Government, cheques of ₹5 lakh each were distributed to 13 panchayats that were elected unanimously in the villages of Mohali. The grants aim to support local development works and strengthen village infrastructure.
Kulwant Singh handed over the cheques to panchayat representatives and emphasised the importance of utilising the funds effectively for the benefit of residents. He stated that empowering panchayats is essential for ensuring development reaches the grassroots level.
He further highlighted that the initiative reflects the commitment of the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, to promote transparent and participatory governance.
Panchayat members expressed their gratitude to the government for fulfilling its promise and supporting village-level development.
