Ward-level development remains a key component of Mohali’s overall growth and urban planning efforts. As the city continues to expand, the importance of responsive local governance and efficient public service delivery has grown significantly. Municipal representatives play an essential role in coordinating with civic authorities, addressing community concerns, and supporting development projects that directly benefit residents.
The programme highlighted the need for continuous community engagement and collaborative efforts to improve civic infrastructure and maintain quality public services. Regular interaction with residents enables local leaders to better understand public priorities and ensure that development initiatives remain focused on the welfare of the community.
Mohali’s rapid urbanisation has created new opportunities as well as challenges related to infrastructure development and service delivery. Addressing these challenges requires effective coordination between municipal authorities, elected representatives, and local communities. Strengthening local governance remains crucial for ensuring sustainable growth and improving the overall quality of life for residents.
Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has been focusing on transparent governance, improved public services, and stronger local institutions. Municipal representatives are expected to contribute significantly to these objectives by addressing grassroots concerns and supporting citizen-focused development initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh emphasized that the future development of Mohali depends on strong local leadership, active public participation, and responsive governance. He encouraged residents to remain engaged in community affairs and support efforts aimed at improving civic amenities and public services.
He further expressed confidence in Satwinder Singh Mithu’s ability to work for the welfare of Ward 26 residents and contribute towards the development of the area. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that local issues receive proper attention and that development projects continue to benefit the community.
