As part of ongoing public outreach initiatives in Mohali, MLA Kulwant Singh visited Wards No. 3 and 4 and interacted with residents while extending support to Aam Aadmi Party candidates Bibi Gurmeet Kaur and S. Harbinder Singh. The programme provided an opportunity for direct engagement with citizens and discussions on local development priorities, civic infrastructure, and public welfare initiatives.

Such engagements help strengthen communication between citizens and public representatives while ensuring that community concerns remain central to development planning and governance.
Wards 3 and 4 continue to witness growing expectations regarding improved infrastructure and efficient public services. Municipal representatives play a crucial role in addressing local concerns, coordinating with civic authorities, and ensuring that development projects are implemented effectively for the benefit of residents. Strong local governance remains essential for supporting sustainable urban growth and improving the quality of life within the community.
The programme highlighted the importance of active citizen participation in governance and community development. Regular engagement with residents helps identify local priorities, promotes transparency, and strengthens accountability in public administration. Such collaborative efforts contribute significantly to the successful implementation of development initiatives and public welfare programmes at the grassroots level.
Mohali’s rapid urban expansion has increased the need for better civic infrastructure, quality public amenities, and responsive municipal administration. Addressing these challenges requires coordinated efforts between local authorities, elected representatives, and community stakeholders to ensure balanced and inclusive development across all neighbourhoods.
Residents attending the interaction emphasized the need for continued improvement in civic services and community facilities. The discussions reflected a strong commitment towards development-oriented governance and enhancing public welfare through effective local administration.
Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has been focusing on strengthening local governance, improving public services, and promoting citizen-centric development. Municipal representatives are expected to contribute to these objectives by supporting grassroots initiatives and ensuring that public welfare remains a key priority.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh emphasized that meaningful development can only be achieved through continuous engagement with residents and a clear understanding of their needs. He encouraged citizens to remain actively involved in community affairs and support efforts aimed at improving civic infrastructure, public services, and overall welfare.
He further expressed confidence that Bibi Gurmeet Kaur and S. Harbinder Singh would work diligently for the welfare of residents in their respective wards and contribute towards strengthening local infrastructure and community development. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that development projects continue to address the needs and aspirations of local communities.
The programme concluded with discussions on civic infrastructure, public welfare, and future development priorities, reflecting the importance of democratic participation and grassroots engagement.
