A Lok Milni programme was organised in Village Raipur, SAS Nagar Mohali, on 6 July 2026, where MLA Kulwant Singh interacted with local residents to review ongoing development works, discuss public grievances, and share updates on the Punjab Government’s key welfare initiatives under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The programme served as an important platform for direct public engagement, enabling villagers to communicate their concerns while learning about the government’s development vision for the constituency.
During the interaction, residents raised several issues related to roads, drainage, sanitation, drinking water supply, street lighting, public infrastructure, and other civic amenities. MLA Kulwant Singh patiently listened to every concern and assured the villagers that all genuine matters would be taken up with the concerned government departments to ensure timely action and effective resolution. He emphasised that regular Lok Milni programmes help strengthen responsive governance by creating a direct bridge between citizens and the administration.
Residents were also informed about the major development projects and public welfare programmes implemented across SAS Nagar Mohali during the past four and a half years. Discussions highlighted improvements in rural infrastructure, road connectivity, healthcare, education, drinking water facilities, sanitation, public utilities, citizen services, and various welfare schemes that have contributed to improving the quality of life across both villages and urban areas. Villagers actively shared their suggestions and discussed priorities for the future development of Raipur village.
