Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Hears Public Concerns at Dheer Park, Sector 64
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana visited Dheer Park in Sector 64, SAS Nagar Mohali, where he held an interactive meeting with local residents to discuss civic issues, neighbourhood development, and public welfare initiatives. The interaction was organised with the support of Shiromani writer Santokh Singh Ji, providing residents with an opportunity to directly share their concerns and suggestions regarding the development of the area.
During the meeting, residents raised various issues related to municipal services, sanitation, road maintenance, drainage, street lighting, public cleanliness, parks, and other civic infrastructure. They also shared valuable suggestions aimed at improving public amenities and enhancing the overall quality of life in the locality. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened attentively to every representation and assured residents that all genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned Municipal Corporation departments for timely action.
Following the interaction, the Mayor reviewed the civic requirements of the locality and emphasised the importance of regular public engagement in strengthening responsive governance. He said that direct communication with residents enables the administration to better understand ground-level challenges, identify development priorities, and implement projects that genuinely reflect the needs of the community.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana appreciated the active participation of the residents and thanked them for sharing constructive suggestions for the betterment of Sector 64. He stated that community involvement plays a vital role in improving civic administration and ensuring that development initiatives are planned in accordance with local expectations. He assured the gathering that officials would be instructed to examine the issues raised and take appropriate action wherever required.
Addressing the residents, the Mayor said that serving the people and addressing their concerns remains his foremost responsibility. He stated that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen urban infrastructure, improve municipal services, and promote transparent, citizen-centric governance across SAS Nagar Mohali. He added that the Municipal Corporation remains committed to enhancing public amenities, maintaining neighbourhood infrastructure, and delivering efficient civic services throughout the city.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana also expressed his sincere gratitude to Shiromani writer Santokh Singh Ji for organising the interaction and thanked the residents of Dheer Park for their warm welcome, valuable suggestions, and continued trust.
