Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Offers Prayers at Thanksgiving Path for Ward No. 5 Councillor
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana attended a Thanksgiving Path organised at a Gurdwara Sahib to celebrate the election of Bibi Arvinder Kaur Ji as the Municipal Councillor (MC) from Ward No. 5 in the Mohali Municipal Corporation elections. The religious programme was organised as an expression of gratitude to Waheguru for the blessings received and the overwhelming support and trust shown by the people during the elections.
On the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana paid obeisance at the Gurdwara Sahib and offered Ardas for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of SAS Nagar Mohali. Joining the congregation in the thanksgiving prayers, he congratulated Bibi Arvinder Kaur Ji and her family on the electoral victory and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure dedicated to public service.
The thanksgiving programme was attended by family members, local residents, community leaders, party workers, supporters, and well-wishers, who gathered in an atmosphere of faith, gratitude, and unity. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana interacted warmly with members of the Sangat and appreciated the spirit of humility, devotion, and selfless service reflected throughout the religious gathering.
Congratulating the newly elected councillor, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana expressed confidence that Bibi Arvinder Kaur Ji would work tirelessly to fulfil the aspirations of the residents of Ward No. 5 and effectively address their civic needs. He emphasised that close coordination between elected representatives and the Municipal Corporation is essential for improving civic infrastructure, strengthening municipal services, enhancing sanitation, and ensuring balanced and sustainable development across Mohali.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that public representatives have a sacred responsibility to serve citizens with honesty, transparency, accountability, and dedication. He stated that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen local governance, modernise civic infrastructure, improve public services, and promote people-centric development across Punjab.
