MLA Kulwant Singh Strengthens Public Connect Through Citizen Interaction in Mohali
MLA Kulwant Singh met residents from different parts of SAS Nagar Mohali at his constituency office on 16 July 2026 as part of his regular public outreach programme aimed at strengthening communication between elected representatives and the people. The interaction provided citizens with an opportunity to directly raise concerns related to civic amenities, public services, and development works while seeking prompt solutions to issues affecting their localities.
During the meeting, residents from various sectors, villages, and residential colonies presented representations regarding roads, sanitation, drainage, water supply, street lighting, sewerage, parks, public infrastructure, and other civic matters. MLA Kulwant Singh patiently listened to every grievance and assured the attendees that all genuine issues would be forwarded to the concerned government departments and monitored regularly until appropriate action is taken. He emphasised that timely resolution of public concerns remains one of his highest priorities.
The public interaction also served as a platform for citizens to share suggestions for improving municipal services and accelerating development projects across Mohali. MLA Kulwant Singh encouraged residents to actively participate in the development process by maintaining regular communication with public representatives and local authorities, stating that community participation is essential for effective and transparent governance.
Highlighting the importance of such meetings, MLA Kulwant Singh said that regular public grievance programmes strengthen trust between the administration and the people while helping identify local development priorities at the grassroots level. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to strengthening public infrastructure, modernising civic amenities, improving citizen services, and ensuring transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance across Punjab. He reaffirmed that every genuine concern raised by the residents would receive due attention and that continuous follow-up would be maintained with the concerned authorities to ensure timely implementation of development works.
MLA Kulwant Singh further stated that the Government is making consistent efforts to enhance the quality of life through investments in better roads, improved sanitation systems, reliable water supply, upgraded public infrastructure, and welfare-oriented initiatives. He expressed confidence that with the active cooperation of residents and efficient coordination among government departments, Mohali would continue to witness balanced and sustainable urban development.
