MLA Kulwant Singh attended the Antim Ardas ceremony of Sardarni Jaswant Kaur Ji, wife of Harbhajan Singh Ji and a respected member of the Kandala community, on 19 August 2026.
Sardarni Jaswant Kaur Ji had passed away recently, leaving her family, relatives, and loved ones in deep grief. MLA Kulwant Singh visited Gurdwara Sahib in Kandala village to participate in the final prayer ceremony and pay his respects to the departed soul.
During the visit, MLA Kulwant Singh met the bereaved family members and conveyed his heartfelt condolences. He expressed solidarity with the family and shared their grief during the difficult time. He also offered his respects to Sardarni Jaswant Kaur Ji and remembered her with reverence.
The Antim Ardas brought together family members, relatives, friends, and members of the local community who gathered at the Gurdwara Sahib to offer prayers and seek peace for the departed soul. The ceremony reflected the close bonds within the Kandala community and the tradition of standing together with families during times of grief.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh prayed to the Almighty to grant Sardarni Jaswant Kaur Ji a place at His feet and bless her soul with eternal peace. He also prayed that God give the bereaved family the strength, courage, and patience to bear the pain of their loss.
He said that the loss of a loved one leaves a deep void in the lives of family members and that, during such difficult moments, the support of relatives, friends, and the community can provide strength to the grieving family.
