Kulwant Singh Holds Lok Milani in Alipur, Highlights Mann Government’s Development and Welfare Work
MLA Kulwant Singh met residents of Alipur village in the Mohali constituency during a Lok Milani programme on 21 August 2026, where villagers were apprised of the development works and public welfare initiatives undertaken by the Punjab Government during the past four and a half years.
During the interaction, MLA Kulwant Singh highlighted various initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for the welfare and progress of different sections of society. The programme provided residents with an opportunity to interact directly with their elected representative and discuss the government’s development and welfare agenda.
A large number of villagers participated in the Lok Milani programme. MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the residents for attending the gathering in large numbers and said that such direct interactions are important for understanding the expectations of people in rural areas and maintaining regular communication with the constituency.
The programme also carried a political message ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. According to the statement issued following the meeting, the villagers present expressed their support for bringing the Mann government back to power in 2027.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Mann government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann have undertaken several initiatives during the last four and a half years for the welfare and progress of different sections of Punjab. He thanked the residents of Alipur for their participation and continued engagement in public programmes.
He also reiterated the importance of maintaining regular contact with residents and continuing development and welfare-oriented work across the Mohali constituency.
The Lok Milani programme concluded with thanks to the villagers for their participation and expressions of support for the Mann government ahead of the 2027 elections.
