Mohali: Popular café-bar brand SOCIAL has opened its first outlet in Mohali at HLP Gallerria in Sector 62, marking a significant milestone for the brand as it reaches its 60th outlet in India.

The new venue is SOCIAL’s third outlet in Punjab, expanding its presence beyond Chandigarh and strengthening its footprint in the Tricity’s growing food, entertainment and lifestyle market.

Multi-Level Venue Brings Café, Restaurant and Bar Together

Spread across multiple levels, the new SOCIAL outlet has been designed as a versatile destination that can cater to customers throughout the day.

The space brings together a café, restaurant, bar and entertainment venue under one roof. The concept allows visitors to drop in for morning coffee and casual meals, spend time over lunch or dinner, or gather with friends for evening and late-night experiences.

Contemporary Design Inspired by an Amphitheatre

The interiors have been designed by Mumbai-based FK’D Workshop, with the layout drawing inspiration from an amphitheatre.

Different levels of the venue are visually connected, creating an open and interactive setting. The design is intended to encourage movement and interaction while giving different sections of the outlet their own character.

A prominent feature is the island bar, which extends between the indoor and outdoor areas. Large glass façades bring natural light into the venue, while greenery, natural materials and Shabad stone flooring add warmth to the contemporary design.

Private Dining and Open-Air Balcony

The outlet also features a private dining area suited for smaller gatherings and an open-air timber-deck balcony designed for relaxed conversations and sundowners.

The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces gives customers different options depending on the occasion, from casual meet-ups to group gatherings.

SOCIAL Brings Popular Food and Beverage Offerings to Mohali

Food and beverages remain central to the SOCIAL experience. The Mohali menu includes several of the brand’s popular offerings, including China Boxes, Butter Chicken Biryani and Fully Re-loaded Nachos.

The beverage menu features coffee and signature cocktails alongside options suited to the brand’s casual café-bar format.

Adding a regional touch to the menu is the Banarasi Patiala, which combines a local flavour element with SOCIAL’s wider food and beverage identity.

Music, Culture and Local Collaborations

Beyond food and beverages, the Mohali outlet is expected to serve as a platform for music, cultural activities, creative collaborations and events featuring local and emerging talent.

The approach is in line with SOCIAL’s broader concept of creating spaces where dining and entertainment come together, giving customers opportunities to socialise, discover new experiences and engage with the local creative community.
