Kulwant Singh Distributes Financial Assistance Under Rangla Punjab Scheme, Boosts Rural Development
Mohali — MLA Kulwant Singh today distributed financial assistance to families and villages under the Rangla Punjab scheme, reaffirming his commitment to rural development and community welfare in the constituency.
As part of the initiative, cheques of ₹2 lakh each were provided to nine families to support the repair and improvement of their homes. This assistance aims to help families living in inadequate housing conditions and ensure better living standards.
In addition to individual support, funds were also allocated for development works across several villages. A grant of ₹5 lakh was issued for village Kallon, ₹8 lakh for village Mananan, and ₹6 lakh for village Jhampur to accelerate local infrastructure and community development projects.
After handing over the cheques to the respective panchayats, Kulwant Singh instructed them to ensure that the development works are carried out efficiently and completed at the earliest. He emphasized the importance of timely execution so that residents can benefit without delay.
Highlighting the broader vision behind the initiative, Kulwant Singh stated that the Rangla Punjab scheme, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is focused on uplifting rural communities, strengthening infrastructure, and improving the quality of life for every household.
Reiterating his commitment, Kulwant Singh said that continuous efforts will be made to ensure that development reaches every village and every family across the constituency.
