Kulwant Singh Inaugurates New Classrooms and Anganwadi Facility in Balomajra
Mohali — MLA Kulwant Singh today inaugurated newly constructed classrooms and an Anganwadi facility in village Balomajra, marking another step towards strengthening education and child welfare infrastructure in the constituency.
As part of the development works, two additional classrooms each were constructed in the Government Primary School and the Government Middle School at a cost of ₹46 lakh. These new classrooms are expected to improve the learning environment and provide better facilities for students.
In addition, a new room for the Anganwadi Center was also inaugurated, built at a cost of ₹9.51 lakh. This facility will support early childhood care, nutrition, and education, benefiting young children and mothers in the village.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh emphasized the importance of investing in education and foundational infrastructure. He stated that improving school facilities and strengthening Anganwadi centers are essential steps toward building a better future for children.
The MLA also interacted with local residents, school staff, and community members, and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that quality education and basic amenities reach every village in the constituency.
Highlighting the ongoing development efforts, Kulwant Singh reiterated that strengthening education and community infrastructure will remain a key priority for Mohali’s growth.
