In a major step towards improving rural living conditions and accelerating development, MLA Mohali Kulwant Singh today distributed financial assistance under the Rangla Punjab scheme initiated by the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government. In addition to individual housing support, the MLA also announced grants for development works in several villages. A fund of ₹5 lakh was allocated to Kallon village, ₹8 lakh to Mananan village, and ₹6 lakh to Jhampur village. These funds are intended to be used for essential infrastructure and community development projects, including roads, sanitation, and public facilities.

Kulwant Singh personally handed over the grant cheques to the respective panchayats and emphasized the importance of utilizing the funds effectively.
