MLA Kulwant Singh participated in the grand Hanuman Chalisa Path organised by Sanatan Seva Samiti, Punjab at Shri Ram Mandir, Dussehra Ground, Kharar, on 14 July 2026. The religious programme witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees, community leaders, social workers, and distinguished guests who gathered to offer prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of society.
Upon his arrival at the temple, MLA Kulwant Singh paid obeisance before Lord Shri Ram and Lord Hanuman and sought divine blessings for the happiness, progress, and prosperity of the people. He also participated in the collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa along with hundreds of devotees, reflecting the spirit of faith, devotion, and community unity.
The event was attended by several prominent personalities, including Mr. Manish Sisodia, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with other distinguished guests and members of the local community. The gathering created an atmosphere of devotion and harmony, with devotees coming together to participate in prayers and spiritual activities while celebrating the values of Sanatan culture.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Kulwant Singh said that religious and cultural programmes play an important role in strengthening social harmony, promoting moral values, and bringing communities together. He said that the teachings of Lord Shri Ram inspire people to follow the path of righteousness, honesty, and compassion, while the life of Lord Hanuman continues to motivate generations with his unmatched devotion, courage, discipline, and selfless service.
He further stated that such spiritual gatherings not only preserve India’s rich cultural heritage but also inspire young people to remain connected with their traditions and values. He appreciated the efforts of Sanatan Seva Samiti, Punjab, for successfully organising the programme and creating a platform where people from different walks of life could come together in devotion and unity.
MLA Kulwant Singh also said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to promoting communal harmony, preserving the state’s rich cultural heritage, and supporting initiatives that strengthen social unity and public welfare. He added that respecting every faith and encouraging peaceful community participation are essential for building a progressive and inclusive society.
During the programme, prayers were offered for the health, happiness, prosperity, and well-being of all citizens. Devotees also prayed for peace, brotherhood, and the continued development of Punjab and the nation.
