Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of the constituency during a public interaction at his office, where people directly raised issues concerning their respective areas and sought solutions to their problems.
Residents apprised the Mayor of a range of local concerns related to civic amenities, development works and other issues affecting their day-to-day lives. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened to the residents individually and discussed the matters raised during the meeting.
The Mayor assured the people that issues falling within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation would be taken up with the concerned officials and departments for appropriate action. He also said that matters requiring coordination with other authorities would be brought to their notice through the proper channels.

Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that regular interaction with residents is important for understanding problems at the grassroots level. He emphasised that public grievances should not only be heard but also followed up properly so that genuine concerns can reach the appropriate authorities and receive timely attention.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that listening to residents and working towards practical solutions to their problems is an important responsibility of public representatives.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is working towards people-centric governance, improved civic services and better public infrastructure.
The Mayor assured residents that their concerns would be followed up seriously and that sincere efforts would be made to resolve genuine issues at the earliest, subject to the relevant departmental procedures and jurisdiction.
