As part of ongoing public outreach initiatives in Mohali, MLA Kulwant Singh visited Wards No. 48 and 49 and interacted with residents while extending support to Aam Aadmi Party candidates S. Wards 48 and 49 continue to experience growing demand for improved civic infrastructure and efficient public services. Municipal representatives play an important role in addressing local concerns, coordinating with civic authorities, and ensuring that development projects are implemented effectively for the benefit of residents. Strong local governance remains essential for supporting sustainable urban growth and improving the quality of life within the community.
The outreach programme highlighted the importance of active citizen participation in governance and community development. Regular engagement with residents helps identify local priorities, promotes transparency, and strengthens accountability in public administration. Such collaborative efforts contribute significantly to the successful implementation of development initiatives and public welfare programmes at the grassroots level.
Mohali’s rapid urban expansion has increased the need for better civic infrastructure, quality public amenities, and responsive municipal administration. Addressing these challenges requires coordinated efforts between local authorities, elected representatives, and community stakeholders to ensure balanced and inclusive development across all neighbourhoods.
Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has been focusing on strengthening local governance, improving public services, and promoting citizen-centric development. Municipal representatives are expected to contribute to these objectives by supporting grassroots development initiatives and ensuring that public welfare remains a key priority.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh emphasized that local development requires dedicated leadership, active public participation, and continuous engagement with residents. He encouraged citizens to remain involved in community affairs and support initiatives aimed at improving civic services, infrastructure, and overall public welfare.
He further expressed confidence in S. Baljit Singh Vicky and Bibi Kulwinder Kaur’s ability to work for the welfare of residents and contribute towards strengthening local infrastructure and community development in their respective wards. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that development projects continue to address the needs and aspirations of local communities.
The programme concluded with discussions between residents, community leaders, and local representatives, reflecting the importance of democratic participation and grassroots engagement. As Mohali continues its development journey, the focus remains on enhancing civic infrastructure, improving public services, and ensuring sustainable growth that benefits all sections of society.
