Continuing efforts to modernize government schools, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated LED screens at Government School, Kumbra, and handed them over to the school staff for academic use.
The installation of interactive flat panel (LED) screens is part of the Punjab government’s larger initiative to upgrade the standard of education and make government schools globally competitive. The move is aimed at integrating modern technology into classrooms and enhancing the learning experience for students.
Highlighting the initiative, the MLA credited Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for focusing on improving education standards across the state. He noted that consistent efforts are being made to provide advanced infrastructure in government schools.
He also acknowledged the leadership of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, under whose guidance interactive digital panels are being installed in schools across Punjab, including the Mohali constituency.
School staff appreciated the initiative, stating that the LED panels will help deliver more engaging and effective lessons. Students are expected to benefit from improved visual learning and interactive classroom experiences.
The development reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to making public education modern, accessible, and future-ready.
