Strengthening digital learning in government schools, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated two interactive flat panel (LED) screens at Government High School, Matour. The newly installed screens were also handed over to the school staff for academic use.
The initiative is part of a larger plan under which around 50 interactive LED panels are being installed across 22 schools in the Mohali constituency. The move aims to enhance the standard of education and bring government schools in line with global and modern learning systems.
Highlighting the initiative, the MLA credited Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for focusing on improving education standards and ensuring continuous upgrades in government schools across Punjab.
He also acknowledged the leadership of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, under whose guidance these reforms are being implemented to modernize classrooms and strengthen educational infrastructure.
School staff expressed their appreciation for the initiative and extended thanks to the Punjab government, stating that the LED screens will help deliver more effective and engaging lessons for students.
The development reflects the state government’s continued commitment to making public education modern, accessible, and future-ready.
