Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh Inaugurates LED Panels at Meritorious School Mohali Under Digital Education Drive
Continuing the push to modernize government education infrastructure, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated two interactive flat panel (LED) screens at Meritorious School, Mohali. The panels were also handed over to the school staff to support digital learning in classrooms.
The initiative is part of a larger plan under which around 50 interactive LED screens are being installed across 22 schools in the Mohali constituency. The move aims to enhance teaching methods through technology and bring government schools in line with global education standards.
Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, the MLA credited Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for prioritizing education reforms and working consistently to upgrade school infrastructure across Punjab.
He also acknowledged the leadership of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, under whose guidance continuous efforts are being made to integrate modern tools into classrooms and improve the quality of education.
School staff welcomed the installation of LED panels, stating that the new technology will help deliver more engaging and effective lessons. Students are expected to benefit from improved visual learning and interactive teaching methods.
The initiative reflects the Punjab government’s ongoing commitment to making public education modern, accessible, and future-ready.
