MLA Kulwant Singh Participates in Spiritual Gathering Dedicated to Lord Shiva
MLA Kulwant Singh participated in the religious and cultural programme “One Evening in the Name of Lord Shiva” organised in Mohali on 30 July 2026, where Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was also present. The devotional event witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees, local residents, religious leaders, and members of the Sanatan community, creating an atmosphere of faith, spirituality, and communal harmony.
The programme featured devotional bhajans, spiritual discourses, and prayers dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees from different parts of the region gathered to seek blessings and celebrate the occasion together, reflecting Punjab’s rich spiritual traditions and its long-standing culture of religious harmony and mutual respect.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann appreciated the overwhelming participation of devotees and emphasised the importance of preserving Punjab’s cultural and spiritual heritage. During the event, the Chief Minister also announced the expansion of pilgrimage facilities for followers of Sanatan Dharma under the Punjab Government’s pilgrimage initiatives. He stated that the government would continue to facilitate visits to prominent religious destinations, making spiritual journeys more accessible for devotees across the state. The announcement received a warm response from those present at the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that religious and cultural programmes play an important role in strengthening social unity, preserving traditional values, and promoting harmony among people from different backgrounds.
