Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Offers Prayers at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Phase 11
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana attended the Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path organised at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Phase 11, SAS Nagar (Mohali) following an invitation from Mrs. Opinderpreet Kaur Ji and her family. The religious programme was organised as a thanksgiving ceremony, bringing together members of the Sangat, local residents, relatives, and well-wishers to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Guru Sahib Ji.
During the programme, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib and participated in the religious proceedings with devotion. He offered prayers for peace, prosperity, good health, and the well-being of all residents while joining the congregation in seeking the blessings of Guru Sahib Ji.
The Mayor also interacted with Mrs. Opinderpreet Kaur Ji, her family members, and members of the Sangat, extending his heartfelt greetings and best wishes on the occasion. He appreciated the warm hospitality extended to him and thanked the family for inviting him to be a part of the religious gathering.
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that religious programmes such as the Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path inspire people to uphold the timeless values of faith, humility, compassion, and selfless service. He noted that such occasions not only provide spiritual guidance but also strengthen social harmony, encourage community participation, and reinforce the spirit of unity among people from all walks of life.
He further said that community gatherings offer valuable opportunities to stay connected with residents, participate in their important family occasions, and strengthen the bond between public representatives and the people they serve.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said:
