As part of ongoing public outreach initiatives in Mohali, MLA Kulwant Singh visited Moli Baidwan in Ward No. 26 and interacted with local residents while extending support to Aam Aadmi Party candidate S. Satwinder Singh Mithu. The programme provided an opportunity for direct engagement with citizens and discussions on local development priorities, civic infrastructure, and public welfare initiatives.
Residents and community members participated actively in the interaction and shared their views regarding road maintenance, sanitation, street lighting, water supply, public amenities, waste management, and other civic services. Such engagements help strengthen communication between citizens and public representatives while ensuring that local concerns remain central to development planning and governance.
Moli Baidwan, like many rapidly developing areas of SAS Nagar Mohali, continues to witness increasing demand for improved civic infrastructure and efficient public services. Municipal representatives play a crucial role in addressing local concerns, coordinating with civic authorities, and ensuring that development projects are implemented effectively for the benefit of residents. Strong local governance remains essential for supporting sustainable growth and improving the quality of life within the community.
The programme highlighted the importance of inclusive community participation in governance and development. Regular interaction with residents helps identify local priorities, promotes transparency, and strengthens accountability in public administration. Such collaborative efforts contribute significantly to the successful implementation of development initiatives and public welfare programmes at the grassroots level.
Mohali’s continued urban expansion has increased the need for better civic infrastructure, responsive municipal services, and citizen-focused development planning. Addressing these challenges requires coordinated efforts between local authorities, elected representatives, and community stakeholders to ensure balanced and inclusive development across all neighbourhoods.
Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has been focusing on strengthening local governance, improving public services, and promoting citizen-centric development. Municipal representatives are expected to contribute to these objectives by supporting grassroots development initiatives and ensuring that public welfare remains a key priority.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh emphasized that meaningful development can only be achieved through continuous engagement with residents and a clear understanding of their needs. He encouraged citizens to remain actively involved in community affairs and support initiatives aimed at improving civic infrastructure, public services, and overall welfare.
He further expressed confidence in S. Satwinder Singh Mithu’s ability to work for the welfare of Ward 26 residents and contribute towards strengthening local infrastructure and community development. He reiterated his commitment to ensuring that development projects continue to address the needs and aspirations of local communities.
The programme concluded with discussions on community welfare, civic infrastructure, and future development priorities, reflecting the importance of democratic participation and grassroots engagement. As Mohali continues its development journey, the focus remains on enhancing public services, improving infrastructure, and ensuring inclusive growth that benefits all sections of society.
