Mohali Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Interacts with Residents to Address Public Concerns
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of his constituency at his office in SAS Nagar Mohali to hear their concerns, review civic issues, and discuss matters related to local development and public welfare. The interaction provided citizens with an opportunity to directly present their grievances, suggestions, and development-related concerns while strengthening communication between the Municipal Corporation and the public.
During the meeting, residents highlighted various civic issues affecting their localities, including sanitation, road maintenance, drainage, street lighting, water supply, cleanliness, and other municipal services. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana patiently listened to every representation and assured the citizens that all genuine concerns would be forwarded to the concerned departments for timely action and effective resolution.
Addressing the gathering, the Mayor said that regular interaction with residents plays a vital role in ensuring transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance. He emphasised that understanding ground-level challenges through direct public engagement enables the Municipal Corporation to identify priorities, improve service delivery, and implement development projects more effectively.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana further stated that the Municipal Corporation remains committed to strengthening civic infrastructure and continuously improving essential public services across SAS Nagar Mohali. He said that every complaint received from residents is carefully reviewed, and the administration is making consistent efforts to ensure faster grievance redressal and better coordination among civic departments.
Apart from residents who visited to discuss public issues, several community members, social workers, supporters, and well-wishers also called on the Mayor to extend their greetings and express their appreciation for the developmental initiatives being undertaken across Mohali. Mayor Samana thanked everyone for their continued trust, encouragement, and valuable suggestions, stating that public support serves as a constant source of motivation in his efforts to serve the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that public service remains his highest priority and that every decision taken by the Municipal Corporation is aimed at improving the quality of life for the people of Mohali. He added that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening urban infrastructure, enhancing citizen services, promoting transparent governance, and ensuring inclusive development throughout the state.
He also assured residents that the Municipal Corporation would continue working in close coordination with all concerned departments to resolve civic issues efficiently, accelerate development works, and maintain high standards of public service delivery across the city.
