Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of SAS Nagar Mohali during a public grievance meeting to hear civic concerns, review local development issues, and strengthen direct communication between citizens and the Municipal Corporation. The interaction formed part of the Mayor’s regular public outreach initiative, providing residents with a direct platform to present their grievances, share valuable suggestions, and seek timely resolution of issues affecting their respective localities.
During the meeting, residents raised a wide range of civic concerns related to road maintenance, sanitation, sewerage, drainage, drinking water supply, street lighting, waste management, cleanliness, parks, public infrastructure, and other municipal services. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana carefully listened to every representation, reviewed the issues in detail, and assured the citizens that all genuine matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation would be addressed on priority. He instructed the concerned officials to examine each complaint thoroughly and initiate prompt and effective action for its resolution.
The interaction also served as an opportunity to discuss ongoing development works and identify future civic priorities across Mohali. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to modernise urban infrastructure, strengthen civic amenities, and deliver transparent, responsive, and citizen-focused governance across the state. He added that every genuine issue brought before him would receive sincere attention and that the Municipal Corporation would continue working in close coordination with all concerned departments to improve civic facilities and enhance the quality of life for every resident.
He further reaffirmed the Municipal Corporation’s commitment to accelerating development works, upgrading urban infrastructure, improving municipal services, and creating a cleaner, greener, and better-managed Mohali. He encouraged residents to continue participating actively in the city’s development by sharing constructive suggestions and promptly reporting civic issues so that necessary action can be taken without delay.
