Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Reviews Public Complaints at MC Office
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different wards of SAS Nagar Mohali at the Municipal Corporation Office during a public grievance meeting to review civic issues, discuss local development priorities, and strengthen direct communication between citizens and the civic administration. The interaction was organised as part of the Mayor’s regular public outreach programme, providing residents with a direct platform to present their grievances, share constructive suggestions, and seek timely resolution of issues affecting their respective localities.
During the meeting, residents from various wards highlighted a wide range of civic concerns, including road maintenance, drainage, sewerage, sanitation, drinking water supply, street lighting, waste management, cleanliness, parks, public infrastructure, and other municipal services. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened patiently to every representation, reviewed each matter in detail, and assured the residents that all genuine issues falling within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation would be addressed on priority. He instructed the concerned officials to examine every complaint thoroughly and ensure prompt and effective action for its resolution.
The interaction also served as an opportunity to review ongoing development works and discuss future civic priorities across Mohali. Residents appreciated the opportunity to interact directly with the Mayor and offered valuable suggestions for improving municipal services and strengthening public infrastructure. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that serving the people of Mohali through efficient municipal administration and the timely redressal of public grievances remains his foremost responsibility. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to modernise urban infrastructure, strengthen civic amenities, and deliver transparent, citizen-centric governance across the state. He added that every genuine issue raised by residents would receive sincere attention and that the Municipal Corporation would continue working in close coordination with all concerned departments to improve civic facilities and enhance the quality of life for every citizen.
He further reaffirmed the Municipal Corporation’s commitment to accelerating development works, upgrading civic infrastructure, improving municipal services, and creating a cleaner, greener, and better-managed Mohali. He expressed confidence that active cooperation between residents, elected representatives, and municipal officials would play a key role in achieving sustainable urban development and building a smarter, more inclusive city.
