Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Pays Devotional Visit to Temple Following Assumption of Office
SAS Nagar, Mohali: After assuming the responsibility of Mayor of SAS Nagar Mohali, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana visited a local temple along with his team to offer prayers and seek the divine blessings of Mata Rani. The spiritual visit marked the beginning of his tenure with faith, humility, and gratitude as he sought strength and guidance to serve the people of Mohali with honesty, dedication, and commitment.
During the visit, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, good health, and overall well-being of the residents of Mohali. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mata Rani for blessing him with the opportunity to serve the city and prayed for the wisdom, courage, and determination required to discharge his responsibilities in the best interests of the people.
Members of the Mayor’s team also joined the prayer ceremony and sought divine blessings for the successful implementation of public welfare initiatives, infrastructure development projects, and the continued progress of SAS Nagar Mohali. The visit reflected the spirit of humility and public service with which the new leadership has begun its journey.
Addressing those present, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that the trust and confidence reposed in him by the people of Mohali is both a privilege and a great responsibility. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening civic infrastructure, improving municipal services, enhancing cleanliness, and ensuring transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric governance across every part of the city.
The Mayor further stated that his administration will work with dedication to accelerate development works, improve essential public amenities, and resolve civic issues through close coordination with the Municipal Corporation and other government departments. He emphasised that inclusive and sustainable development remains one of the key priorities of his tenure.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening local governance, modernising urban infrastructure, improving civic amenities, and delivering efficient public services across the state. He reiterated that the Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar Mohali, will continue working with transparency, accountability, and a strong sense of public responsibility to fulfil the aspirations of the people.
