MLA Kulwant Singh Meets Villagers in Mote Majra, Highlights Punjab Government’s Welfare Schemes
Mohali: MLA Kulwant Singh held a Lok Milani programme with residents of Mote Majra village in the Mohali constituency on 13 August 2026, providing villagers an opportunity to interact directly with their elected representative and discuss the development and welfare initiatives being undertaken by the Punjab Government.
During the programme, MLA Kulwant Singh highlighted various development projects and public welfare measures carried out under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann during the past four and a half years. He spoke about the government’s focus on improving public services and promoting the welfare and progress of different sections of society.
A large number of residents from Mote Majra participated in the Lok Milani. The programme provided a platform for villagers to hear about government initiatives, share their views and maintain direct communication with their elected representative.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that such public interactions are important for understanding the expectations and priorities of people at the grassroots level. He emphasised that regular communication with residents helps elected representatives remain aware of local concerns and ensures that development priorities remain connected with the needs of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Punjab Government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has undertaken several initiatives over the last four and a half years for the welfare and development of the people. He thanked the residents of Mote Majra for attending the programme in large numbers and for their continued participation in public affairs.
The Lok Milani also carried a political message ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. According to the statement issued following the programme, residents attending the gathering expressed their support for the continuation of the Mann government in Punjab.
MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the people of Mote Majra for their participation and said that maintaining regular contact with residents would remain an important part of his efforts. He reaffirmed his commitment to listening to public concerns and working towards the continued development and welfare of the Mohali constituency.
