MLA Kulwant Singh Hears Public Grievances During Resident Interaction in Mohali
MLA Kulwant Singh met residents from different sectors, wards, and villages of SAS Nagar Mohali at his constituency office during a public grievance meeting, where citizens shared various civic issues and development-related concerns affecting their localities. The interaction formed part of his regular public outreach programme, aimed at maintaining direct communication with residents and ensuring that public grievances receive timely attention from the concerned government departments.
During the meeting, residents highlighted a range of issues related to roads, sanitation, sewerage, drainage, drinking water supply, street lighting, parks, public infrastructure, cleanliness, and other essential civic services. MLA Kulwant Singh listened patiently to every representation and assured the gathering that all genuine matters would be taken up with the respective departments for immediate examination and prompt resolution. He also directed his team to maintain regular follow-up so that pending issues could be resolved efficiently and without unnecessary delay.
Emphasising the importance of direct public interaction, MLA Kulwant Singh said that regular meetings with citizens help identify grassroots challenges, understand local priorities, and improve the implementation of development projects. He noted that such interactions strengthen transparency, accountability, and coordination between the administration and the public while ensuring that government services are delivered more effectively to the people.
