A community interaction programme was organised in Village Manak Majra, SAS Nagar Mohali, on 2 July 2026, where MLA Kulwant Singh met local residents to review ongoing development works, discuss public welfare initiatives, and understand the future development priorities of the village. The programme served as an important platform for strengthening communication between citizens and their elected representative while highlighting the Punjab Government’s commitment to transparent, responsive, and people-centric governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
During the interaction, residents were informed about the major development projects and welfare schemes implemented across Mohali over the past four and a half years. Discussions covered improvements in roads, drinking water supply, sanitation, rural infrastructure, healthcare, education, public utilities, and citizen services that have contributed to improving the quality of life across both rural and urban areas. Villagers also shared their suggestions, highlighted local issues, and discussed priorities for the continued development of Manak Majra.
Residents raised concerns related to civic amenities, including roads, drainage, street lighting, sanitation, and other public infrastructure. MLA Kulwant Singh carefully listened to every issue and assured the villagers that all genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned government departments for prompt action and effective resolution.
