Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana Pays Obeisance at Shri Amritsar Mahadev Temple, Sector 89
SAS Nagar, Mohali: After assuming the responsibility of Mayor of SAS Nagar Mohali, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana visited Shri Amritsar Mahadev Temple, Sector 89, along with members of his team to offer prayers and seek the divine blessings of Lord Shiva. During the visit, he also had the privilege of receiving the blessings of Swami Sambarananda Brahmachari Ji Maharaj, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people of Mohali.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana offered special prayers for the peace, prosperity, happiness, and well-being of the residents of Mohali. He prayed for the wisdom, strength, and determination to fulfil his responsibilities with honesty, transparency, and dedication while working tirelessly for the welfare and development of the city.
The Mayor described the spiritual atmosphere of Shri Amritsar Mahadev Temple as a source of inspiration and inner strength. He expressed his sincere appreciation to Swami Sambarananda Brahmachari Ji Maharaj for his blessings, guidance, and warm hospitality, stating that such spiritual encouragement motivates public representatives to discharge their duties with greater commitment and humility.
Addressing those present, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that values such as compassion, selfless service, integrity, and humility are the true foundation of effective public leadership. He remarked that these timeless principles continue to inspire him to work for the betterment of every resident while ensuring that development remains inclusive, transparent, and people-centric.
The Mayor further reiterated his commitment to strengthening civic infrastructure, improving sanitation, enhancing municipal services, and accelerating development projects across all parts of SAS Nagar Mohali. He said that every decision of the Municipal Corporation will be guided by the objective of improving the quality of life for citizens and creating a cleaner, greener, and more progressive city.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana stated that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to strengthen local governance, modernise urban infrastructure, improve public services, and promote transparent administration across Punjab. He expressed his gratitude for the blessings received at Shri Amritsar Mahadev Temple and reaffirmed his resolve to serve the people of Mohali with complete honesty, accountability, and dedication.
